We are currently seeking a dedicated Regional Coordinator to join our Manufacturing Company.
Location: Burkina Faso / Tamale and it's environs
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Environmental Science or related field.
- 3-5 years experience in manufacturing (plastic recycling) companies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external vendors.
- Strong leadership and team supervision skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in taking Data Collection.
- Immediate availability to work.
Responsibilities:
1. Supplier Relationship: Good customer relationship with suppliers.
2. Collection Scheduling: Scout for suppliers, plan and manage the collection schedules for recyclable materials, ensuring timely pickups.
3. Fleet Management: Oversee the management and maintenance of collection equipment.
4. Supervise Collection: Ensure collection materials are delivered and offloaded successfully at FreeZone.
5. Track and Analyse Data: Collect data on materials collected, recycling rates, and operational efficiency.
6. Coordinate with Recycling Centers: Work with sorting and processing facilities to ensure the smooth transfer of collected materials.
7. Negotiate Pricing: Work to get the best value for goods or services, balancing cost with quality.
8. Long-Term Savings: Look for opportunities to negotiate long-term contracts that offer savings, discounts, or better terms.
9. Compliance: Ensure Legal Compliance: Ensure all operations meet local, state, and federal regulations concerning waste collection and recycling.
