Description
Our client, a commercial service provider is seeking a detail-oriented and responsible VERIFICATION OFFICER to oversee and execute the documentation review process for onboarding commercial drivers.
ROLE PROFILE
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all rider and vehicle documentation is thoroughly reviewed, accurately verified, and fully compliant with relevant legal, regulatory, and company standards. This role plays a vital part in maintaining trust, reducing operational risk, and supporting a seamless onboarding process. He or she will carry out the following duties:
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review and verify identification, driver’s licenses, proof of address, and right-to-work documentation.
- Assess the completeness and authenticity of vehicle-related documents such as insurance, and registration.
- Ensure riders meet the eligibility requirements for platform-specific operations (e.g., Uber, Bolt).
- Conduct fraud detection checks and escalate any anomalies or suspicious documentation.
- Communicate with applicants to resolve incomplete or inconsistent documentation and provide guidance on next steps.
- Updated accurately onboarding status and documentation logs in the company’s internal systems.
- Maintain compliance with data protection regulations and internal document handling procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including onboarding, customer service, and fleet operations to ensure timely activation of verified riders.
- Assist in the development and continuous improvement of verification processes and compliance protocols.
- Support audit readiness and provide documentation or evidence when required by compliance teams.
