Job Summary:

The Weeding and Grounds Maintenance Worker is responsible for maintaining outdoor spaces by performing tasks such as weeding, mowing, trimming, watering, and general landscaping. The role ensures that lawns, gardens, and green areas remain clean, well-maintained, and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities:

  Weeding & Plant Care:

  
  
  • Remove weeds manually or using appropriate tools and herbicides.
  
  
  • Maintain garden beds, trees, and shrubs by applying mulch and fertilizers.
  
  
  • Identify and address plant diseases and pest issues.

  Lawn & Ground Maintenance:

  
  
  • Mow, trim, and edge lawns and pathways.
  
  
  • Water plants, lawns, and trees as needed.
  
  
  • Rake leaves, clear debris, and dispose of waste properly.
  
  
  • Repair and maintain landscaping features such as flower beds and walkways.
