Job Summary:
The Cleaning Supervisor oversees and coordinates the activities of cleaning staff to ensure that facilities are maintained in a clean, orderly, and safe condition. The role involves supervising daily cleaning operations, training staff, inspecting work areas, managing cleaning supplies, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the work of cleaners and janitors across assigned areas.
Plan and assign daily cleaning schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure high cleaning standards are maintained.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of cleaning materials, tools, and equipment.
Train and orient new cleaning staff on company policies, cleaning techniques, and safety practices.
Monitor inventory levels and request cleaning materials and equipment as needed.
Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to management.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
Maintain attendance records and performance evaluations for cleaning staff.
Support and enforce company policies, customer service standards, and operational guidelines.
