The successful applicant shall be responsible for safeguarding and growing revenue for the Organization through acquisition and retention of business. He/ She shall keep customers updated on business development The role reports to the Sales Manager.
ROLE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
- Evaluates business opportunities.
- Monitors and evaluates marketing plans.
- Identifies, contacts and establishes new business through effective approaches.
- Develops marketing presentations and generates business specific service level agreements
- Maintains effective working relationships with internal suppliers such as the Sales Engineer and customers.
- Provides account data to the Sales Manager for developing a sales plan and monitoring its implementation.
- Uses relevant metrics and measures to routinely monitor progress against targets and take appropriate action to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
- Provides sales performance data to support management decision-making.
