Description
The Quality Control Analyst is responsible for performing laboratory testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished pharmaceutical products to ensure they meet required quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct chemical, physical, and microbiological testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
- Perform analytical tests using instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV spectrophotometer, and dissolution apparatus.
- Record, analyze, and interpret test results accurately.
- Ensure all laboratory activities comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Prepare and maintain proper documentation of test results, logs, and reports.
- Identify deviations or out-of-specification (OOS) results and report them promptly.
- Assist in method validation and equipment calibration.
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness and ensure proper handling of chemicals and reagents.
- Participate in internal and external audits and inspections.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in quality systems.
