Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Manager to oversee the operations of our luxury gym. The Business Manager will be responsible for leading a team of dedicated staff members, ensuring exceptional member experiences, and driving the success of our gym. Responsibilities:
1. Operational Management:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the gym's daily operations, including facility maintenance, equipment upkeep, and cleanliness.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure efficient workflows and adherence to quality standards.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to maximize gym performance and profitability.
2. Team Leadership and Development:
- Recruit, train, and supervise a team of gym staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide exceptional service.
- Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to maximize staff performance and engagement.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork, innovation, and professional growth.
3. Member Experience and Satisfaction:
- Maintain a customer-centric focus by ensuring members receive personalized attention and outstanding service.
- Proactively address member feedback, concerns, and complaints to ensure high levels of member satisfaction.
- Develop and implement member retention strategies, including loyalty programs, special events, and personalized member engagement initiatives.
4. Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the gym's budget, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded.
- Monitor revenue streams, expenses, and cost control measures to optimize financial performance.
- Implement pricing strategies and promotional campaigns to drive revenue growth and attract new members.
5. Health and Safety Compliance:
- Ensure ACTIV8 operates in compliance with all health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, implement emergency response protocols, and maintain accurate records.
- Promote a safe and clean environment for members and staff by enforcing hygiene and sanitation practices.
6. Marketing and Community Engagement:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing strategies to attract new members and increase brand awareness.
- Represent ACTIV8 at community events, networking opportunities, and industry gatherings to promote the gym's brand and build relationships.
- Maintain strong relationships with members, local businesses, and community partners to enhance the gym's reputation and visibility.
