Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Project Management ( a First Degree or Master’s Degree from Kwame Nkurmah University of Science and Technology is an added advantage).
Professional certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or relevant Engineering/Project Management certification) is desirable.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive work experience in a recognized construction company, with exposure to managing multiple projects.
Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project management principles, and contract administration.
Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and project risks effectively.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office Suite (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar software).

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Operations Officer with a strong background in Civil Engineering and/or Project Management to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of proven experience in the construction industry and possess the ability to efficiently oversee, coordinate, and deliver multiple projects simultaneously.
The Operations Officer will be responsible for ensuring projects are executed on time, within scope, and in line with quality, safety, and budgetary standards. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills to drive operational excellence across all construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily construction operations across multiple project sites.
- Supervise and monitor project execution to ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to achieve successful delivery.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards on all sites.
- Provide technical and operational guidance to site engineers, supervisors, and project teams.
- Identify risks, troubleshoot challenges, and develop proactive solutions to keep projects on track.
- Prepare periodic project reports, progress updates, and performance evaluations for management.
- Support strategic planning and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Foster effective communication and teamwork across project teams and stakeholders.
