Requirements: - Degree/HND in Mechanical Engineering • Technical & Technological a. Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. b. Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance. c. Ability to troubleshoot or determine causes of operating errors and decide what to do about it. d. Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing. e. Ability to determine the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job. f. Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and make sound decisions. g. Ability to record, store or maintain information in written or electronic format.

1. Assist Maintenance Manager to carry out installation / assembling of new machines / equipment in the factory.


2. Work within Standard Operating Procedures.


3. Assemble mechanical component of all production equipment / machines.


4. Carry out repair work on malfunctioning mechanical parts of machines / equipment.


5. Inspect and carry out preventive maintenance of all production equipment / machines.


6. Read dials / meters to determine pressure and temperature of vital production equipment – steam boiler, compressor, chillers etc.


7. Operate drills, grinders and other machines to modify / repair machine parts.


8. To respond promptly to complaints made by operators / supervisors on malfunctioning machines / equipment.


9. Submit report of maintenance or repair work conducted on each machine / equipment to Maintenance Manager.


10. Clean vacuum tanks and refill it.


11. Service the chillers and air compressors.


12. Calibrate sticks for production.
