Job Summary:
As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of mechanical systems and equipment. You will work closely with engineers and other technical staff to ensure that machinery operates efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and Repair: Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs of mechanical systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Installation: Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment, ensuring all components are correctly aligned and functioning.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections, and report any irregularities to management.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with engineers, other technicians, and staff to improve mechanical systems and processes.
- Parts Management: Manage inventory of mechanical parts and supplies, including ordering and stocking as necessary.
