Job Summary:

The Marketing and Social Media Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote and enhance the school's social media presence, and drive student admissions. This role requires a creative and analytical individual who can engage with the community, create compelling content, and manage the admissions process efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing and Communications:

1. Develop and Execute Marketing Strategies:
   
   
   • Create and implement comprehensive marketing plans to promote the school’s brand, programs, and events.
   
   
   • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and areas for growth.
   
   
   
   


2. Content Creation:
   
   
   
   • Design and produce marketing materials including brochures, newsletters, advertisements, and promotional videos.
   
   
   • Collaborate with teachers and staff to gather content for marketing purposes.
   
   
   
   


3. Public Relations:
   
   
   
   • Build and maintain relationships with local media, community organizations, and influencers.
   
   
   • Prepare and distribute press releases and other communications to promote school events and achievements.
   
   
   
   

Social Media Management:

1. Social Media Strategy:
   
   
   • Develop and execute a social media strategy to enhance the school’s online presence and engagement
   
   
   • Manage and grow the school’s social media profiles on platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube, TikTok
   
   
   
   


2. Content Planning and Posting:
   
   
   
   • Create engaging and relevant content for social media posts, stories, and campaigns.
   
   
   • Schedule and publish posts regularly to maintain an active online presence.
   
   
   
   


3. Engagement and Monitoring:
   
   
   
   • Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries on social media platforms promptly and professionally.
   
   
   • Monitor social media trends, analytics, and feedback to adjust strategies as needed.
   
   
   
   

Student Admissions:

1. Admissions Strategy:
   
   
   • Work with the marketing and admissions team to develop and implement a student admission plan to attract and enroll new students.
   
   
   • Coordinate and participate in open houses, school tours, and other admissions events.
   
   
   • Prepare presentations and promotional materials for admissions events.
   
   
   • Collaborate with academic departments to ensure the admissions process is seamless and supportive of student needs.
   
   
   
   


2. Admissions Data Management:
   
   
   
   • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date database of prospective and current students.
   
   
   • Track admissions statistics and generate reports on enrollment trends.
   
   
   • Use data insights to refine recruitment strategies and improve conversion rates.
   
   
   
   


3. Communications and Follow-up:
   
   
   
   • Draft and send regular communications to prospective students and their families, including emails, newsletters, and follow-up letters.
   
   
   • Develop and manage an admissions calendar to ensure timely follow-up with applicants.
