Position Overview:
The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) is the linchpin for driving the commercial success of the organization. As a transformative leader, the CCO is tasked with both the strategic and operational facets of the commercial realm, ensuring the company's objectives and goals align seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership:
- Continually tweak and architect a 5-year strategic roadmap, setting a visionary commercial direction for the company.
- Formulate the annual business and commercial plans in sync with organizational goals.
- Spearhead revenue forecasting and maintain rigorous tracking.
- Champion brand and business development strategies, reinforcing the company's market stance.
- Continuously innovate and enhance the product/service pipeline.
- Direct pivotal monthly management and weekly commercial leadership team discussions.
- Cultivate and nurture strategic partnerships, ensuring alignment and mutual growth.
- Streamline the commercial team's organizational structure, redefining roles, and spearheading talent acquisition.
2. Operational Duties:
- Supervise and steer innovation projects towards fruition.
- Maintain a keen eye on revenue streams and the customer pipeline.
- Initiate and foster relationships through strategic meetings with partners and potential clientele.
- Overcome commercial team challenges through effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Lead client-centric pitches, promoting the company's offerings persuasively.
- Craft and refine strategic presentations and operational templates.
- Ensure timely completion of Executive Committee (Exco) assignments.
- Scrutinize and greenlight client cost proposals, ensuring value-driven outcomes.
- Champion rebranding initiatives, transitioning from a managed services identity to a contemporary SaaS provider for public and private cloud services.
- Oversee the company’s web presence and highlighting the new business lines, enhancing partner visibility, and positioning new product offerings effectively.
- Appraise the marketing budget, rejuvenate strategies, and ensure meticulous planning.
3. Marketing Mastery:
- Overhaul and modernize Lead Generation, Marketing technology and the organization's digital footprint.
- Design and implement product-centric marketing strategies, encompassing facets like email marketing, reporting, automation, website management, paid campaigns, generating intent data and more.
- Direct high-impact marketing endeavors to a) amplify awareness and demand for the company’s services, b) generate a robust sales pipeline, and c) nurture prospects through the sales journey.
4. Others:
- Commit to continuous professional enrichment and development.
- Assume additional responsibilities as required to drive organizational excellence.
