Description
- To fabricate or reproduce spare parts for the machines in good condition.
- Responsible to run lathe machine in good condition.
- Assist the fitter mechanics in the maintenance and repairs of machines.
- To ensure that all working machine parts are in good working condition.
- To ensure that the workshop & lathe machine is properly cleaned at all time.
- Welds in flat, horizontal, vertical or overhead positions.
- Examines weld for bead size and other specifications.
- Repairs broken or cracked parts and fills holes.
- Proper house-keeping of the welding area before and after work.
- Performs all necessary maintenance and repair on all equipment used in welding.
- Be able to move parts in and move finished product out of welding area.
- Perform other maintenance jobs as may be determined by Management from time to time.
- Ensure optimal allocation and full utilization or resources available to reduce downtime and keep the Machine running.
