Job Summary

The Assistant Stores & Logistics Officer supports the effective management of raw materials,

packaging, and finished goods by ensuring accurate inventory control, proper storage, and timely

inward and outward logistics. The role helps maintain smooth material flow to support

uninterrupted production and customer deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

 Stores & Inventory Management

 Assist in receiving, inspecting, and issuing raw materials, packaging, and spare parts.

 Maintain accurate stock records in ERP or manual systems.

 Monitor stock levels and support stock reconciliation and physical inventory counts.

 Ensure proper storage, labeling, FIFO/FEFO practices, and housekeeping.

Logistics & Dispatch

 Support planning and coordination of dispatches for finished goods.

 Prepare delivery notes, gate passes, and dispatch documentation.

 Coordinate with transporters and follow up on deliveries.

Documentation & Reporting

 Assist to maintain stores and logistics records, GRNs, delivery, and invoices.

 Assist in preparing daily and monthly stock and dispatch reports.

Compliance & Safety

 Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety, and hygiene standards.

 Support safe handling of raw materials and finished goods.

Coordination & Support

 Coordinate with production, procurement, quality, and finance departments.

 Assist in handling material shortages, damages, and discrepancies.
