Description
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide all legal Secretariat duties to the company.
- Provide legal advisory and interpretation services to the Company and its board.
- Conduct requisite legal compliance checks.
- Review and advise on MOUs, SLAs, Contracts, etc., between the Company and third parties.
- Keep and maintain up-to-date records on all Agreements, Contracts, SLAs & MOUs.
- Track, advise, and maintain records on all pending and potential litigations.
- Attend court hearings for and on behalf of the company. Provide support to employees attending court hearings on behalf of the company.
- Liaise with external lawyers to ensure agreements and legal documents are promptly acted on.
- Responsible for monitoring the execution of all legal contracts, especially big projects, to ensure the Company does not lose any advantage and can claim penalties if the need arises.
- Responsible for the Company’s compliance with the data privacy law in Ghana.
- Responsible for TTA processing and approval for the Company.
Regulatory Responsibilities:
- Support and educate the Regulatory Coordinator in interpretation, practice, and applicability of requisite regulatory regulations.
- Assist, participate, and advise during regulatory visits and checks.
- Support the regulatory function by attending meetings and discussions that require legal advice/input.
