Description
- Prepare and set up laboratory equipment, instruments, and materials for experiments and tests
- Conduct routine laboratory tests, experiments, and analyses following standard procedures
- Collect, label, and properly store samples (blood, urine, tissue, etc.)
- Record and analyze test results accurately and report findings to supervisors
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory at all times
- Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment
- Follow all safety regulations and use protective equipment to prevent contamination or hazards
- Manage laboratory inventory, including ordering and storing supplies
- Assist scientists, doctors, or senior lab staff in research and diagnostic procedures
- Dispose of chemical and biological waste according to safety guidelines
- Maintain accurate laboratory records, logs, and documentation
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and laboratory policies
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report major faults
- Support quality control procedures to ensure reliability of results
