Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced HR Consultant to support The Or Foundation in strengthening its human resources policies, processes, and practices. The consultant will provide strategic guidance on workforce planning, employee engagement, performance management, and compliance with labor laws and NGO-specific regulations. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of HR operations within the nonprofit sector and a passion for people-centered solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Strategy & Organizational Development:
Assess current HR structures and recommend improvements aligned with The Or Foundation’s mission.
Develop HR policies and procedures that support an inclusive, ethical, and compliant work environment.
Advise the HR team in workforce planning and capacity building to improve team effectiveness.
Performance Management & Capacity Building:
Develop and implement a performance management framework tailored to the NGO sector.
Design learning and development programs to enhance employee skills and leadership.
Conduct HR training sessions for managers and employees on key HR topics.
Compensation, Benefits & Compliance:
Review and recommend competitive compensation and benefits structures suitable for an NGO.
Ensure compliance with local labor laws, donor policies, and ethical HR practices.
Conduct HR audits and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
