Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
(Master’s degree or HR certification preferred).
2. Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a plant,
manufacturing, or industrial setting.
3. Strong understanding of employment law, HR principles, and workforce compliance.
4. Proven ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced, and labor-intensive
environment.
5. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
6. Demonstrated ability to influence and build relationships with employees at all levels.
7. Experience managing or supporting union environments (if applicable) is a plus.
8. Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Job Summary:
A company engaged in the production and distribution of crops, leguminous plants, rice,and cereals seeks an experienced and strategic Human Resource Manager to lead its HR operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in human resource management and prior experience working in a plant or agricultural processing facility, where operational efficiency and labor management are key. This role is critical in ensuring workforce alignment with business goals, fostering a high-performance culture, and supporting compliance, employee development, and organizational effectiveness across all levels of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary HR partner to plant leadership and line managers, providing guidance on workforce issues, labor relations, and HR best practices.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies for both hourly and salaried plant personnel.
- Oversee employee relations and conflict resolution to maintain a positive an productive work environment.
- Manage training and development programs aligned with operational and strategic goals.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as internal HR policies and procedures.
- Administer compensation and benefits programs, including payroll coordination in collaboration with finance/payroll departments.
- Conduct performance management processes and support leadership in performance coaching and employee development.
- Maintain HR metrics, reporting, and analytics to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Support health and safety programs in collaboration with EHS teams.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives including communication plans, recognition programs, and cultural development.
- Coordinate with corporate HR as necessary to align local practices with company-wide policies.
