Job Description:
As an HR Assistant with expertise in the manufacturing industry, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our HR department's functions. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all HR operations run smoothly, and you will be a key resource for employees and management regarding HR-related matters. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of relevant experience and a comprehensive knowledge of labor laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Onboarding and Offboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork, orientation, and training. Handle exit procedures efficiently and conduct exit interviews when necessary.
- Compliance with Labor Laws: Stay updated on labor laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure the company's policies and practices are in accordance with legal requirements.
- Employee Relations: Assist in resolving employee grievances and provide guidance on HR-related issues while maintaining a positive work environment.
- Recruitment Support: Collaborate with the HR team in coordinating recruitment efforts, including job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling.
- HR Documentation: Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Prepare HR reports and documentation as needed.
- Benefits Administration: Support benefits enrollment processes and assist employees with benefit-related inquiries.
- Payroll Assistance: Collaborate with the payroll department to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee payroll.
- Training and Development: Assist in organizing training and development programs for employees to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Health and Safety: Work with the HR team to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and support the implementation of safety programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of HR experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in HRIS and MS Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
