Description
Position Description/Job Purpose
The Assistant Administrator with a Human Resource background will provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the HR department and other organizational functions. The role involves performing various office tasks, managing HR records, assisting with recruitment, and supporting day-to-day operations to ensure efficient workflow and procuring of office items.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the coordination of daily office activities and operational tasks.
- Prepare reports, memos, letters, and other documents as required.
- Maintain filing systems and ensure data accuracy and organization.
- Schedule meetings, interviews, and appointments for HR and management
- Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties
- Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies)
- Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc)
- Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc) and take minutes
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leave
- Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures from the PACs
- Coordinate communications and queries from the PACs.
- Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employee
- Assist our recruiters to source candidates and update our database
- Help manage employee records, including contracts, leaves, benefits, and performance reviews.
- Aid in developing and implementing HR policies, ensuring compliance with labor laws.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding employee information and sensitive HR matters.
- Assist in organizing company events, conferences and training sessions.
- Good understanding of supply chain procedures
- Maintaining a fully stocked inventory and optimizing the procurement process for the organization.
