The Hotel Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the hotel, including guest services, staff management, financial performance, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Accountabilities/Primary Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage departments.


• Ensure exceptional guest service by maintaining a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.


• Implement customer feedback mechanisms to continuously improve the guest experience and drive sales.


• Manage and motivate staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.


• Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the lodge and increase brand awareness.


• Develop and implement strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue.


• Monitor and control hotel expenses to ensure profitability.


• Source and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices and terms for hotel supplies.


• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.


• Monitor and forecast inventory levels to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize waste.


• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.


• Maintain positive relationships with guests, vendors, and suppliers.


• Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.


• Prepare and present monthly reports to the Managing Director
