Qualifications

Description
The Hotel Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the hotel, including guest services, staff management, financial performance, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Accountabilities/Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage departments.
- Ensure exceptional guest service by maintaining a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
- Implement customer feedback mechanisms to continuously improve the guest experience and drive sales.
- Manage and motivate staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the lodge and increase brand awareness.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue.
- Monitor and control hotel expenses to ensure profitability.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices and terms for hotel supplies.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
- Monitor and forecast inventory levels to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize waste.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
- Maintain positive relationships with guests, vendors, and suppliers.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare and present monthly reports to the Managing Director
