JOB SUMMARY
The General Manager (GM) will lead the overall operations, strategy, and performance of the recruitment and travel divisions. This role oversees business development, compliance, client relationships, financial management, and team leadership to ensure operational excellence, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Strategic Leadership
a. Develop and execute business strategies to achieve organizational goals in both recruitment and travel services.
b. Identify new markets, partnerships, and business expansion opportunities.
c. Monitor industry trends and implement initiatives to keep the agency competitive.
2. Operations Management
a. Oversee daily operations across both recruitment and travel units.
b. Implement efficient workflows, SOPs, and quality standards.
c. Ensure systems, tools, and processes are optimized for productivity and customer experience.
3. Travel & Tours Division Oversight
a. Lead the planning, promotion, and execution of travel packages, ticketing, and tourism services.
b. Oversee vendor negotiations, airline partnerships, and travel-related contracts.
c. Ensure excellent service delivery and client satisfaction across all travel products.
4. Financial & Business Performance
a. Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
b. Monitor expenditures, revenue streams, and profitability.
c. Drive cost-efficiency measures and ensure sustainable financial health.
5. Team Leadership & Development
a. Manage, mentor, and motivate cross-functional teams.
b. Conduct performance evaluations and identify training needs.
c. Foster a strong culture of teamwork, accountability, and customer service excellence.
6. Client & Stakeholder Management
a. Maintain long-term client relationships and ensure client retention.
b. Resolve major customer issues promptly and effectively.
c. Represent the company in high-level meetings, conferences, and stakeholder engagements.
7. Recruitment Division Oversight
a. Supervise end-to-end recruitment activities (local and international recruitment).
b. Ensure compliance with labour regulations, migration laws, and licensing requirements.
c. Build and maintain strong relations with clients, employers, and regulatory bodies.
d. Drive candidate sourcing strategies, interview processes, assessments, and placements.
8. Compliance & Risk Management
a. Ensure full compliance with recruitment, labour, migration, and travel regulations.
b. Maintain accurate records, contracts, and documentation for audits.
c. Implement risk management strategies and promote ethical practices.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
a. A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field
b. Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a managerial or supervisory role, preferably within the travel or consulting industry
c. Age limits 35 years and above (Matured Male candidate to be specific)
d. Strong leadership and team management capabilities
e. Proven ability to manage operations and achieve business targets
f. Solid understanding of travel and tour operations, including visa processes and booking systems
g. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client relationship management skills
h. Strong problem-solving ability and professional judgment
i. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
j. High level of professionalism, accountability, and a results-driven mindset
