COMPANY OVERVIEW
A leading company in the health, wellness, and direct sales industry is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance & Accounts Manager to oversee its financial operations. The company operates within a structured international network and is committed to maintaining high standards of financial integrity, compliance, and operational efficiency. The Finance & Accounts Manager will be responsible for the independent management of the company’s finance function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, full compliance with statutory requirements, and alignment with both local regulations and international reporting standards. The role requires a hands-on professional who can take ownership of accounting operations while providing strategic financial insights to support business growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Management & Reporting
- Oversee end-to-end accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Ensure timely submission of financial reports in line with international/HQ reporting standards
- Maintain proper financial records and ensure documentation is audit-ready at all times
Corporate Accounts Oversight
- Independently manage corporate accounts and all financial transactions
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and overall financial performance
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support management decision-making
Tax Compliance & Regulatory Requirements
- Ensure full compliance with Ghanaian tax laws, including VAT, PAYE, corporate tax, and other statutory obligations
- Prepare and submit all tax returns accurately and within required timelines
- Liaise with tax authorities and regulatory bodies as required
Audit & Internal Controls
- Coordinate and manage internal and external audit processes
- Establish, implement, and monitor effective internal control systems
- Address audit findings and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions
Reporting & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the key point of contact for financial reporting to international/HQ stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure financial discipline and compliance across operations
- Support senior management with financial reports, analysis, and strategic input
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certification (ACCA, ICA, CIMA, or equivalent) is strongly preferred
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in finance or accounting, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role
- Strong knowledge of Ghanaian tax laws and statutory compliance requirements
- Experience with international reporting standards or group/HQ reporting structures is an advantage
- Proficiency in accounting software and strong Microsoft Excel skills
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
