JOB OVERVIEW

 

A leading medical supplies company specializing in the distribution of medical equipment and gas is seeking a dynamic and professional Public Relations Officer to lead its external communications and relationship-building efforts. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in public relations, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a

strong understanding of the medical equipment and healthcare industry. This role is essential in enhancing the company’s public image, cultivating strong professional Relationships with C-level executives—and supporting business growth through

strategic communication initiatives.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement comprehensive public relations strategies to promote the company’s brand and services within the healthcare sector.


• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including CEOs of partner companies, healthcare institutions, regulatory bodies, and the media.


• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and strategic meetings to promote business development and visibility.


• Draft and distribute press releases, speeches, and media kits, ensuring consistent messaging and compliance with industry regulations.


• Collaborate with senior leadership to craft and communicate the company’s vision, mission, and core values to the public and partners.


• Monitor industry trends and media coverage related to medical equipment, healthcare services, and public health initiatives.


• Organize and coordinate corporate events, stakeholder engagements, and CSR initiatives that strengthen the company’s public profile.


• Serve as a liaison between the company and the public, addressing inquiries, handling crisis communications, and managing public feedback.

 

REQUIREMENTS

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.


• A professional certificate in Public Relations (CIPR, IPR, or equivalent).


• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a PR or communications role, preferably within the healthcare, medical equipment, or pharmaceutical sector.


• Solid understanding of medical supplies and equipment and the ability to communicate complex information to diverse audiences.


• Proven ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with senior executives, government officials, and media representatives.


• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.


• Professional appearance, confidence, and ability to represent the company in high-level business environments.


• Knowledge of medical gases and healthcare compliance standards.


• Experience in corporate communications, media relations, or stakeholder engagement in a regulated industry.


• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple public-facing initiatives.


• Familiarity with PR tools and digital communication platforms (e.g., press monitoring, email campaigns, LinkedIn strategies).
