Job Title: Service Supervisor
Overview: We are looking for an experienced Service Supervisor who will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily activities of the service team. This role typically involves managing a team of service technicians, ensuring efficient and high-quality service delivery. The Service Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring that service operations meet or exceed customer expectations while adhering to company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership:
- Supervise, lead, and motivate a team of service technicians.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, objectives, and performance expectations.
- Provide coaching, training, and support to enhance the skills and capabilities of team members.
- Service Operations:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the service department or team.
- Schedule and assign service tasks to team members, ensuring optimal use of resources.
- Monitor work progress and ensure that service requests are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Quality Assurance:
- Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify that work meets established standards.
- Address and resolve any service-related issues or customer complaints promptly.
- Performance Metrics:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the service team and monitor performance against these metrics.
- Analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Inventory Management:
- Manage and control inventory levels of service-related materials and equipment.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
- Safety Compliance:
- Enforce and promote adherence to safety protocols and regulations within the service team.
- Conduct regular safety training sessions and ensure the use of proper safety equipment.
- Reporting:
- Generate regular reports on service performance, including key metrics and accomplishments.
- Provide reports to upper management, highlighting areas of success and improvement opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field of study
- Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within an electronic Industry.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards.
