The recruitment of a Director, Graduate Programmes, is essential to provide academic and administrative leadership for the department`s growing portfolio of postgraduate degrees, including master’s, and the STEM as well as the Executive Education and short courses.

Who we are looking for

A Doctorate (PhD or DBA) in a relevant Business & Management field such as: Business Administration, Management Sciences, Finance / Economics / Accounting, Education / Higher Education Management or another discipline relevant to the graduate programmes offered by the Department.

About the job

This recruitment would solve the following but not limited to,

1. Programme Expansion and Modernization

To strengthen and modernize the Finance/ Accounting and Business curriculum by integrating computational, data-driven, and quantitative approaches to financial analysis, in line with global trends in corporate finance, digital finance, and quantitative risk management.

2. Demand for Specialized Expertise

The department requires a faculty member with advanced expertise in computational finance and quantitative modelling to teach, supervise, and develop research in this emerging field, which is currently underrepresented in the department.

3. Student and Industry Demand

There is growing student interest and industry demand for graduates with strong quantitative and computational skills applied to finance.

4. Research Development

To enhance the department’s research capacity and output in computational and quantitative finance, supporting interdisciplinary projects with mathematics, computer science, economics, and fintech sectors.

Who we are looking for

PhD Computational Finance/Quantitative Finance / Applied Finance/ Finance/Management Science/Financial Engineering etc,

Master’s degree in Finance, Quantitative Methods, or Mathematical Modelling (if not already covered by PhD)

Professional qualifications such as CFA, FRM, PRM, or CQF (Certificate in Quantitative Finance) in addition to the academic qualification advantageous.
