We are seeking a qualified and experienced Medical Doctor to join our reputable hospital located in Kejetia, Kumasi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients, diagnosing medical conditions, and developing effective treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
* Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments of patients.
* Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions in line with established medical protocols.
* Prescribe medications and treatments, ensuring appropriate care for each patient.
Medical Documentation:
* Maintain accurate medical records for each patient, documenting diagnosis, treatment, and progress.
* Ensure proper medical documentation and timely updates.
Collaboration with Healthcare Team:
* Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and healthcare staff to ensure comprehensive care.
* Participate in medical rounds, case discussions, and hospital meetings.
Patient Education:
* Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatments, and preventive care.
* Offer guidance on healthy lifestyle choices and post-treatment care.
Emergency Response:
* Respond to emergency situations within the hospital promptly and effectively.
* Provide necessary medical interventions and support in urgent cases.
Continual Learning:
* Stay updated with the latest medical research, treatments, and technologies.
* Participate in professional development and medical training programs.
Requirements for Interested Applicants:
* A degree in Medicine (MBChB or equivalent).
* Valid medical license to practice in Ghana.
* Proven experience in medical practice and patient care.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
* Ability to provide excellent patient care and demonstrate professionalism in all aspects of medical practice.
