- To ensure that the Vehicle assigned to you is in good condition at all times and motorable
- This involves checking the following:
- Insurance
- Roadworthy Certificates
- Oil Change and any other periodic maintenance eg. changing of plugs, etc.
- To report immediately, any fault detected on the vehicle in your care and follow up to ensure that repairs are done.
- You are to ensure maintenance of a clean and neat appearance of the vehicle entrusted into their care.
- You are to ensure the car is fuelled at all times and the fuel level is appropriate for any errand and will not run out on the way.
- Ensure you keep your log books of the dates for the expiration of insurance, roadworthy, and oil changes.
3. You are to ensure that the Vehicle under your care is handled and kept in excellent condition.
4. If you are involved in an accident and there is proof that it is due to negligent action, e.g. lack of maintenance or reckless driving, etc. you will pay for the cost of damage.
5. The Office Manager and HR Manager have supervisory oversight on all vehicles and it is to ensure that all the Drivers in the Company conform to set standards. You must follow their instructions.
6. You are to be courteous, civil, and pleasant to all superiors, colleagues, and subordinates.
7. As a Driver you are to treat all persons you drive with due courtesy and empathy. They will in turn return a courteous attitude to you. In the unfortunate situation where you are faced with a person who responds to caution or correction with a rude attitude (e.g. to put on the seat belt), do not respond in like manner. Kindly report to the Administration immediately after.
8. Any other responsibility and task that may be assigned to you from time to time by Management.
