Understanding of kitchen safety rules and sanitation practices, with a Food Safety Certificate being a plus. Ability to stand for long hours, lift heavy items, and work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work well with others, follow instructions, and support the kitchen team. Ability to follow recipes, measure ingredients, and maintain cleanliness. Good at managing time effectively, especially during busy periods in the kitchen.

Assist in Food Preparation: Help the chef or cook in preparing ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and cooking various food items.

Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure the kitchen area is clean and sanitized, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment.

Stock Management: Help manage kitchen inventory by unpacking and organizing deliveries, checking stock levels, and restocking supplies.

Assist with Food Presentation: Help with plating and garnishing food for service, ensuring presentation standards are met.

Waste Management: Safely dispose of kitchen waste, and ensure recycling and composting practices are followed.
