JOB SUMMARY
As an architect, you will play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of architectural projects within our firm. Working closely with project teams and external stakeholders, you will contribute to the successful delivery of projects while adhering to industry standards and best practices.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design Development: Assist in the conceptualization and development of architectural designs under the guidance of senior architects. Collaborate in the creation of drawings, 3D models, and presentations for client and team review.
- Technical Drawings: Produce detailed architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, MEPs and construction details using CAD and BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).
- Project Documentation: Help prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, ensuring that all design elements comply with relevant codes, regulations, and client requirements.
- Collaboration: Work with interdisciplinary teams (engineers, contractors, etc.) to ensure coordination of architectural designs with structural, mechanical, and other building systems.
- Site Visits: Assist in site evaluations, attend project site meetings, and monitor construction progress to ensure design intent is being followed.
- Sustainability: Support the integration of sustainable design practices, energy efficiency, and environmentally responsible solutions into projects.
- Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and
- stakeholders, contributing to the successful delivery of architectural services.
- Research & Development: Stay informed on industry trends, new materials, construction technologies, and best practices to inform project solutions.
- Develop innovative and functional architectural designs that meet client requirements, project objectives, and budgetary constraints.
- Utilize your creative abilities and technical expertise to produce design concepts, sketches, and renderings that effectively communicate design intent.
- Take ownership of assigned projects and manage them through all phases of the design process, from conceptualization to construction administration.
- Establish some project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, and ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.
- Foster positive relationships with clients through effective communication, collaboration, and responsiveness.
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing their concerns, soliciting feedback, and providing design solutions that align with their vision and objectives.
- Apply your knowledge of architectural principles, building codes, regulations, and construction methods to develop technically sound design solutions.
- Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and contractors to integrate technical requirements and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Prepare comprehensive architectural drawings, plans, specifications, and other documentation required for construction.
- Utilize CAD software and other design tools to produce accurate and detailed drawings that convey design intent and facilitate construction implementation.
- Provide construction administration services, including conducting site visits, reviewing contractor submittals, and addressing field issues to ensure that the design is executed according to specifications.
- Collaborate with contractors and subcontractors to resolve construction-related issues and maintain project quality.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including designers, drafters, and project managers, to achieve project goals and deliver high-quality design solutions.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and professional growth.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external agencies, and media partners to coordinate integrated marketing initiatives and ensure seamless execution of campaigns.
- Understanding needs and sharing ideas, be a great communicator, receive and interpret feedback, and meet tight deadlines, respond to user feedback, data/analytics, to improve the creative work in future iterations.
