As an MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Engineer you will play a pivotal role in our construction projects, ensuring the efficient integration of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. With a minimum of 5 years of experience in large-scale construction projects, you will lead the MEP design, coordination, and implementation to ensure the successful completion of projects within specified timelines and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. MEP System Design and Planning:
· Develop comprehensive MEP designs in coordination with architectural and structural plans.
· Plan and layout mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to meet project requirements and local building codes.
2. Coordination and Integration:
· Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems with overall project design.
· Conduct regular coordination meetings to address design clashes and optimize system performance.
3. Project Management:
· Oversee the MEP aspects of large construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
· Coordinate with project managers and construction teams to ensure MEP installations align with project milestones.
4. Quality Assurance:
· Implement and enforce quality assurance and control measures for MEP systems.
· Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
5. Technical Expertise:
· Provide technical expertise in HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and fire protection.
· Stay updated on industry advancements, codes, and regulations to ensure best practices are incorporated into designs.
6. Budget and Cost Control:
· Collaborate with the cost estimating team to develop accurate MEP project budgets.
· Implement cost control measures to ensure projects stay within budgetary constraints.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP engineering, with a focus on large-scale construction projects.
