BSc in Civil Engineering or Construction Management Three (3) years of relevant experience in Construction or Civil engineering, as well as appropriate health and safety training. Proven working experience in works / civil engineering Project management Ability to interpret designs Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, and regulatory approvals.

• Coordinate the day-to-day activities of the entire labour force on site.


• Ensure that all works are executed to precision and specification


• Oversight responsibility over material management on and off site, liaising with quantity surveyors about the ordering and the pricing of materials


• Ensure that all health and safety protocols are adhered to on site at all times.


• Supervise workers and work activities.


• Prepare and present site inductions, safety briefings and toolbox talks.


• Assess and manages] safety hazards


• Ensure appropriate site rules and welfare facilities are in place.


• Help to coordinate deliveries of materials and equipment to and from the work site


• Complete records for site reports.


• Attends site management meetings.


• Carry out regular inspections to ensure compliance with relevant legal requirements, processes and procedures.


• Raise safety concerns at the appropriate level.


• Resolve problems and implement improvements.


• Organize and oversee external inspections, such as with a health and safety inspector.


• Provide emergency first aid if required.


• Any other duties assigned
