COMPETENCIES EDUCATIONAL: • A Minimum of first degree in Civil Engineering • A registered member of the Ghana Institution of Engineering OTHER COMPETENCIES: • Knowledge in CAD software, Easy and Expert GPS software • Should be able to use Total Station, Schmidt Hammer, Rebar Scanner and Levelling Instrument • Attention to detail is of the upmost importance • Good decision making • Critical Thinking • Excellent problem solving • Organisation and time management skills EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5years work experience in a similar position

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop innovative and efficient structural designs, ensuring visually stunning and structurally sound buildings.


• Conduct comprehensive analyses and use cutting-edge tools to ensure the integrity and safety of projects


• Perform regular tests on procedures to ensure compliance with all regulations and evaluate all designs and drawings before implementation


• Collaborate with other HOD’s, Project Managers and Construction Managers to develop and integrate processes and procedures (Project Execution Systems).


• Monitor the execution performance of all projects, including startup and closeout.


• Provide technical support to the project development, estimating and onsite engineering teams


• Report on Engineering activities on a regular basis to the Head of the Technical Department,


• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of the relevant Key Performance Indicators.


• Ensure that Environmental, Health and Safety, engineering and quality standards and procedures are adhered to.


• Manages the day-to-day activities of the engineering teams.


• Oversee all engineering processes in construction projects and provide subject matter expertise as per requirement.

• Provide leadership, coordination, training and coaching to the team


• Work with the Engineering team to translate site strategy into specific annual performance goals and departmental objectives.
