Position: Chief Executive Officer
Our client, A Savings & Loans Company is looking for a visionary Chief Executive Officer to lead the
organization into its next phase of growth and success.
Reporting to: Board and Group
Job Purpose:
We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead our organization
towards achieving its strategic goals, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining compliance with
regulatory and corporate governance standards. The CEO will be accountable to the Board and Group for
overseeing the organization’s operations, driving growth, and representing the company to stakeholders.
This role requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record in executive management, strategic
thinking, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Operations Management:
∙Lead the Executive Committee and the entire organization to achieve objectives set by the Board
of Directors, Group CEO, and Shareholders.
∙Oversee daily operations across all branches and departments, ensuring seamless functionality
and alignment with organizational goals.
∙Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the
company.
Strategic Direction:
∙Spearhead growth and expansion initiatives, including the development of innovative financial
products.
∙Develop and execute business strategies to achieve financial performance and market positioning
objectives.
∙Monitor and respond to market trends, competition, and economic factors affecting the business.
Financial Oversight:
∙Ensure the sustainability of the organization by unlocking value for shareholders.
∙Oversee effective budget management, cost control, and revenue generation.
∙Collaborate with the Management team to align operations with stakeholder priorities.
∙Support the Group in securing and raising local funding to support operations and growth.
Governance and Compliance:
∙Uphold a high level of commitment to corporate governance, organizational ethics, and
compliance.
∙Safeguard company assets, intellectual property, and reputation.
∙Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate governance standards.
∙Report to the Board of Directors, Group CEO, regulatory bodies, shareholders, and funders on the
company’s performance and compliance.
Stakeholder Engagement:
∙Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including employees, customers,
regulators, the Group, Board, funders, and the community.
∙Represent the company at public and corporate engagements to enhance its reputation and
stakeholder trust.
∙Serve as a flag bearer of the company’s brand, effectively managing relationships with people at
all levels.
Other Responsibilities:
∙Undertake any additional responsibilities assigned by the Board of Directors or Group
Management.
Professional Requirements & Experience:
∙Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (minimum).
∙Postgraduate degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.
∙Minimum of 7 years of Executive Management experience in a significant financial services
organization in Ghana.
∙Membership in relevant professional bodies will be advantageous.
∙Must meet the Bank of Ghana’s Fit-and-Proper requirements for key management personnel.
