JOB OVERVIEW
A leading distribution and trading company with a diverse portfolio of products spanning appliances, stationery, food, and tyres is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Corporate Sales Manager to join its senior leadership team. This is a high-impact, senior management role for an ambitious and entrepreneurial leader who will spearhead corporate sales strategy, manage a team of sales executives, and grow market share. The ideal candidate will be a skilled communicator, well-networked, and capable of navigating complex organizations to build lasting business partnerships.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and mentor a team of corporate sales executives to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities in the corporate segment.
- Build strong relationships with decision-makers and internal champions in target organizations.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market share.
- Prepare and submit proposals for tenders and corporate projects.
- Monitor collections and ensure timely payments from corporate clients.
- Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to inform strategy.
- Collaborate with Finance, Logistics, and Category Managers to align pricing and product availability.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 8+ years of sales experience, with at least 3+ years in a senior sales management or corporate business development role.
- Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role within FMCG, appliances, or related industries.
- Experience working with corporate clients, B2B sales, or institutional accounts.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong professional network and ability to cultivate high-level corporate relationships.
- Results-oriented, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
- Achievement of monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Client satisfaction ratings from feedback and surveys.
- Proposal submission volume and conversion rates.
- Timely collection of receivables.
- Regular delivery of actionable market intelligence reports.
