Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration (Marketing), Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably within the procurement, sales and marketing or engineering industry.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, supply chain management, and business operations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of business development, client management, and team leadership.
• Sound knowledge of local regulations, market dynamics, and industry trends in Ghana.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment and drive results.

Description
Insight HR Solutions is mandated by one of its clients to recruit a General Manager for immediate employment. The office will be located in Accra.
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
- Provide strategic direction and leadership for the Ghana operations, aligning activities with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
- Identify opportunities for business expansion and growth within Ghana, including market analysis, client acquisition, and strategic partnerships.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including procurement processes, supplier management, quality assurance, and client relationship management.
- Manage budgeting, financial planning, and cost control measures to ensure profitability and sustainability of operations in Ghana.
- Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, monitoring performance against targets and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Identifying and executing opportunities to generate revenue and builds sustainable business lines whilst maintaining the company’s priorities.
- Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and requirements to deliver tailored procurement solutions and exceptional service.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, industry associations, and community groups, to promote the company’s interests and enhance the company's reputation in Ghana.
- Performing other duties as may be assigned from time to time
