• Defining and implementing the norms for each stage of Gari process in order to have right quality of Gari. • Coach/Mentor field quality officers to ensure that processing centres follow the guidelines of process and hygiene for quality Gari. • To ensure that Gari being processed at different processing centres of suppliers is within the prescribed level of Chemical and Microbial analysis and to take corrective actions where ever there is gap. • To ensure that all the processing centres are working in compliance with the requirement of regulatory authorities – FDA, EPA etc. • To identify and discuss with Agri Business head for evaluation on the need of support (limited to equipments) required to enhance the quality and quantity of gari at processing centres. • To categorise the processing centres into different levels as per their infrastructure and hygiene and accordingly work out incentive structure for upgradation of processing centre to desired level of quality compliance. • To pay monthly visit to all the processing centres under him on regular basis to develop good contacts with the suppliers.
