1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
2. Qualification in ACCA/ICAG required.
3. Seven (7) or more years of experience.
4. Advance knowledge in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook, SAP software.
5. Ability to design and implement control systems.
6. Decision Making- Ability to identify and define problems and find sustainable solutions to them.
7. Ability to handle all tax related operations.
8. Ability to plan, coordinate and follow up to monitor people and work activities.

Description
Insight HR Solutions is mandated by one of its reputable clients to recruit a Senior Accountant for immediate employment. The office will be located in Accra.
Key Responsibilties:
- Responsible of all accounting processes, which involve General Ledger postings, accounts payable, accounts receivable, Fixed Assets and Inventory Control.
- Responsible of all company’s tax compliance issues such as filing of CIT, VAT, WHT, TP, Employer deduction, Directors’ returns, etc.
Posting supplier invoices and making reconciliations for supplier accounts on a regular basis
File all posted documents as required.- Handling all month-end and year-end closure procedures and preparing monthly management accounts.
- Filing of CIT, VAT, WHT, TP, Employer deduction, Directors’ returns, etc. on time.
- Handling all kinds of audits: Group internal audits, External audits, GRA tax audits and Tax health checks by our tax consultants.
- Being the main contact person for our tax consultants.
- Assisting in recruiting personnel to fill all positions in the accounts department, performing staff appraisals/reviews and training of accounts personnel to use the SAP software.
- Instituting group internal control systems and designing controls locally to supplement the groups.
- Co-ordinating the activities of account department with the logistics department with regards to imports and exports.
- Perform any other duties that may be assigned.
