Driving Ghana’s Energy Transition
Ghana Energy Week 2024 returns from 14 –15 November 2024 in Accra, Ghana.
Held under the patronage of the Ministry of Energy, Government of Ghana, Ghana Energy Week 2024 will be Ghana’s largest and only all-encompassing energy exhibition and conference, bringing together the entire energy value chain, and will serve as a catalyst for Ghana’s energy transition goals.
Welcoming over 35,000 attendees, 450 exhibitors,400 speakers and 4,000+ delegates, from over 100 countries, Ghana Energy Week will be a truly global gathering, convening policymakers, business leaders and energy pioneers to collaborate, discover new opportunities and strengthen partnerships.
In 2023, the event returns bigger and better than ever before, serving as the official meeting place for Ghana’s energy elite.
At the forefront of the African energy industry, GEW promotes the role Ghana plays in global energy matters, centered around Ghana-led dialogue and decision making. Covering the entire energy sector and value chain, GEW represents the only conference on the continent representative of the entire sector.
Making energy poverty historyInstead of dwelling on the challenges hindering development, GEW focuses on integration and collaboration to reverse Africa’s resource curse and support energy explorers and producers across the continent.
When we support upstream, midstream and downstream projects, we support jobs, we create growth, we promote gender equality, and we drive innovation that brings solutions for our future. Recognizing that the energy transition is shaping the global dialogue, GEW promotes the Ghana position on the future of Ghana’s energy sector.
By advocating personal responsibility, free markets, individual liberty and an enabling environment for investors, GEW ensures that Ghana’s oil and natural gas industry and Ghanaians stand to benefit, rather than continuing a reliance on foreign aid and assistance.
