Green Extract Ghana Limited (GEGL) was incorporated in February, 2017 as a private limited liability company under the Companies Code of Ghana, 1963 (Act 179), with the authorization to engage in the production and export of botanical extracts and natural ingredients. The company is a start-up.

The project involves the establishment of a processing factory in Ghana to extract the medicinally potent ingredients in plants for export.

The raw materials are to be supplied through a network of accredited collectors and agencies in Ghana.
