Incorporated under the Companies Code of Ghana 1963(Act 179) as a Pensions Trustee Company. The company was licensed under the National Pension Act 2008 (Act 766) by the National Pension Regulatory Authority (NPRA) and was incorporated in October, 2014.

The company was formally known as ASI-B Pensions Trust Limited but had its name re-branded to Prestige Pensions Trust Limited after its acquisition by a new shareholder in June 2017 and it is now under the leadership of new managements.
