Golfers across Africa are preparing feverishly for the 90th Ghana Open, sanctioned by the Ghana Golf Association, The R&A, and WAGR. 

Headline sponsor for this year's event is Rana Motors. The tournament is scheduled to take place at the Achimota Golf Club in Accra from Wednesday, September 17-20, 2025.

Golfers will be competing in the Professional, Championship, Handicap, Support and Seniors categories of competition.

The professional field will be cut to the top 21 players after the second day of play.

Prize money of GH?200,000 is at stake for the professionals, with the champion set to receive GH?45,000. Various prizes will also be awarded to deservin winners in the Championship, Handicap, Support, and Seniors categories, alongside ancillary prizes for the longest drive and nearest to the pin for men and ladies.

The event is supported by a list of sponsors, headlined by Rana Motors and supported  by Millennium Insurance, Telecel,Caveman Watches ,Tang Palace Hotel, Tge Royal Senchi Hotel & Resort, Alisa Hotels, Exp amongst others.
