Sam Roscoe says Linfield players remain in the dark about David Healy's future with the club despite Raith Rovers' offical approach to the Blues for the manager's services.
“I have just seen what everyone else has seen, we have no idea," said Roscoe.
"We all hope the gaffer stays, he’s a massive reason why I came back to the club.”
Central defender Roscoe scored twice as his side "blew Loughgall away in the first half" during Saturday's 5-1 Irish Premiership victory at Windsor Park.
Chris McKee’s penalty broke the deadlock before Roscoe netted twice and Joel Cooper scored before the break.
Ethan McGee made it 5-0 with Ryan Waide scoring a consolation goal on the 67th minute.
“To get my name on the scoresheet is unusual to be fair, but to get it twice has never happened before so I’m glad that’s happened," added Roscoe.
“In the second half we probably know we can be better, but the damage was done in the first half, and it was a good team performance."
Roscoe rejoined Linfield in the summer after a year at Altrincham in the National League.
