The Deputy Director of Research at the Electoral Commission (EC), Fred Tetteh, has attributed the circumstances that led to the re-collation of some parliamentary results to widespread lawlessness from political parties and their supporters.
According to him, the commission was unable to complete its work in these constituencies due to disruptions caused by these incidents.
The affected constituencies included Nsawam Adoagyiri, Ahafo Ano South West, Ahafo Ano North, Obuasi East, Okaikwei Central, Ablekuma North, Tema Central, Techiman South, and Dome Kwabenya.
