The Assemblyman for the Baatsona Electoral Area in Spintex, Mr. Jeremiah Borketey Bortey, has donated hand-sewing machines to students at Abrantie College.
In total, Mr. Bortey donated 10 sewing machines as part of his efforts to give back to society.
This kind gesture aims to assist students at Abrantie College—Ghana's premier fashion, cosmetology, and catering institute—with their vocational training.
Presenting the donation during Abrantie College's recent matriculation ceremony, Mr. Bortey emphasized the importance of supporting students in Ghana to further their education and training.
Receiving the sewing machines on behalf of the school, the Director of Abrantie College, Mr. King David Thompson, expressed gratitude for Hon. Bortey's generosity.
He assured that the College, located within the Baatsona Electoral Area, would continue to provide "the best education to students, so the Baatsona Electoral Area can thrive."
