The Presiding Bishop of the Methodist Church of Ghana, Most Reverend Dr Robert Aboagye-Mensah, on Friday dedicated a GH¢1.5 million office complex for the Cape Coast Diocese of the Church.
At a special service attended by both the clergy and the laity as well as the standing committee of the Church to commission and dedicate the-two-storey office complex, Rev. Aboagye-Mensah urged people not to only hold on to their vision but pursued it until it was achieved.
He said God considered people, who nurture their vision to completion as wise, because without vision people would perish and stressed that every structure must be built on the foundation of Jesus Christ, the rock of ages.
Rev. Dr Aboagye-Mensah appealed to the leadership of the Church to endeavour to maintain the building.
Bishop of the Cape Coast diocese, Right Rev. Isaac Quansah, said the edifice, which begun a decade ago, was built on the Church's old cemetery land at Bakaano a suburb of Cape Coast.
He thanked all who contributed to the successful completion of the offices and mentioned specifically the diocesan Bishop, the Regional Manager of Methodist schools, the Methodist trade union and other organisations in the Church.
He said some of the offices would be rented out and the proceeds used in maintaining the building.
