Ghana’s Most Respected Human Development Foundation, the Olinga Foundation for Human Development, has been honoured with Inspiring Literacy Change Award for their remarkable determination to build human capabilities to achieve greatness at the 3rd edition of the Ghana Philanthropy Awards, 2024.

This prestigious accolade of inspiring literacy change in Ghana reflects the foundations’ unwavering passion and dedication to hard work to uplift the children, youth and teachers across the country.

Under the guidance of Dr. Leslie Casely-Hayford, the foundation has made remarkable strides in empowering young Ghanaians and Africans by providing them with the training and resources they need to realize their entrepreneurial dreams.

One of the foundation’s key initiatives includes distributing literacy empowerment materials and training teachers to ignite their imaginations and equip them with the knowledge to read and succeed. The foundation also offers training to teachers, coaching mentorship, and builds a culture of reading through school clubs and the provision of supplementary reading material, empowering children and young people to build valuable skills for their future careers.

The Olinga Foundation for Human Development, a Bahai-inspired NGO, has directly impacted the lives of many, instilling in them the confidence and skills necessary to pursue greatness.

The Olinga Foundation’s contributions extend beyond mentorship to funding organisations that share their mission of inspiring the next generation of leaders in Ghana and across Africa.

The 3rd edition of the Ghana Philanthropy Awards, held at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel and organized by The Business Executive Group, seeks to recognize individuals and organisations that play a significant role in promoting humanity’s growth and development, positively impacting their communities.

In a post-award interview after receiving this notable trophy, the National Coordinator for Olinga Foundation for Human Development, Mr Nubuasah said the award is a testament to the foundation’s vision to help humanity in all aspects of life.
