The Mastercard Foundation's Ghana Grows Programme in partnership with the Springboard Road Show Foundation is set to inspire young entrepreneurs through the premiere of "Changing Narratives" show.
The show is a video series showcasing the resilience and entrepreneurial spirit of young Ghanaians.
A news brief said the show would highlight the journeys of young agripreneurs who had transformed their aspirations into thriving businesses.
It said over 100 partners had supported the Ghana Grows Programme with the aim to equip young people with mentorship, training, and entrepreneurial development opportunities in agriculture, agribusiness, and vocational sectors.
Mrs Comfort Ocran, Executive Director of Springboard Road Show Foundation, reportedly said that those young entrepreneurs started with a dream, and through determination and support, they were accelerating their personal development, impacting their families, communities and ultimately shaping Ghana's future.
"Every story in this series is a beacon of hope," she added.
The statement said the show, which would be premiered on February 13, 2025, on GhanaGrows facebook and YouTube pages is a call to action for businesses, policymakers, and communities to invest in the next generation of visionaries.
It said each episode presented stories of young changemakers who, despite challenges, had leveraged mentorship and training to build businesses that created jobs and drive economic growth.
It said beyond individual success stories, changing narratives fostered discussions on inclusive entrepreneurship and youth economic empowerment.
"The series highlights young entrepreneurs, including persons with disabilities, encouraging policymakers and industry leaders to create more opportunities for the youth," the brief said.
