Growing up in Pomona, California, Dr. T. Horn Jr., aka Rick Horn, faced a troubled youth. At age 18, he survived being shot at point-blank range in the head, an experience that left him convinced that “God Saved Him!”
Determined to turn his life around, Dr. T. Horn Jr. graduated high school in 1989 and later earned a degree in Criminal Justice from California State University, San Bernardino in 1995. He committed himself to being a positive role model in the community.
An entrepreneur at heart, Dr. T. Horn Jr. opened Strickly’s Barbecue and Burgers and Strickly’s Auto Accessories, where he employed and mentored high school students, introducing them to valuable job skills and the world of entrepreneurship.
For over 25 years, he has served as a Deputy Probation Officer with the Los Angeles County Probation Department, sharing his story with youth to inspire them to make positive life changes.
Feeling a deeper calling, Dr. T. Horn Jr. went on to earn a Master in Divinity and a Doctorate in Ministry from Next Dimension Bible College in 2008. Continuing his entrepreneurial journey, he launched Strickly’s Limousine Services, Ladies and Gentleman Headquarters, and established 1st Class Realty and Mortgage Broker, along with several other business ventures.
As a spiritually anointed and inspirational speaker, Dr. T. Horn Jr. empowers audiences to seek self-awareness, find purpose in God, and pursue entrepreneurship to realize their dreams. He is supported by his wife, Carol, of over 21 years, and their three children: Kyla (20), Tyrone III (Tre, 16), and Tye (10).
