The Headmaster of the kotintabig Primary and Junior Secondary School in the Talensi-Nabdam District, Mr. Zure Sobre Baba, has commended the Parent/Teacher Association of the school for assisting to motivate the volunteer teachers in the school through gifts.
He said this had motivated the teachers to give off their best and had contributed to lifting the image of the school.
Mr. Baba told the GNA that the school's library had been converted to a classroom to accommodate the growing number of pupils enrolled every academic year because most of the children were studying under trees.
Mr Baba appealed to the Talensi-Nabdam District Assembly, the Ghana Education Service and non-governmental organizations operating in the district to assist to build extra classrooms for the school.
Mr. Baba congratulated the Chief of the area, the Member of Parliament for Nabdam, Mr. Moses Asaga, for starting the school in the community in 1998 by providing roofing materials.
The Headmaster appealed to Mr Asaga to assist the school once by providing additional classrooms.
